PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
Globalization Services (GS) acts as ‘One Face to the Field Organization and SAP Customers for all globalization topics: internationalization, localization and translation. One of SAP key success factors is being able to deliver excellent globalization solutions as part of SAP standard product. Currently, SAP has globalization teams in several locations that are dedicated to the localization and delivery of country versions in all SAP product areas. The globalization team in SAP Labs China Shanghai is one important unit within that global development network – with the mission to develop solutions for the global, regional and local markets.

SAP is investing heavily in product development in China for China. There’s great opportunity for talents to grow in the Globalization Services Department.

Today, the team runs in Scrum methodology and composes a scrum team with various roles (Product Owner, Developers, User Interface Designer, and Quality/Testing Engineer etc.). You will become a developer of a scrum team and will have chances to play various roles. You will participate in various activities during the life cycle of product.
 EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
- Work closely with product owners, peer colleagues, and software tester to deliver industry-leading solutions
- Design and implement the components and features of the data visualization for large-scale deployment for desktop, web and mobile solution, focus on China specific integrations with hybris, e.g. TMall/ WeChat
- Continuously improvement the development efficiency
- Deliver on time with high quality

 EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering
- ~2 years working experience in software development (preferably enterprise software)
- Knowledge of B2B/B2C Commerce is a must, knowledge large-scale, public-facing, web-based applications is a big plus
- Experience in agile software development and design thinking methodologies is preferred
 PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SKILL
- About two years’ experience delivering Java Enterprise Edition / Spring – based, consumer facing web applications, preferably commerce applications involving integration with legacy and external systems
- Familiar with popular J2EE development tools and technologies such as Git, Eclipse, JUnit, Tomcat, Jira, etc.
- Basic knowledge of cloud infrastructure like IAAS, PAAS and SAAS
- Experience of developing REST based web services
- Experience in Spring ecosystem including Spring Boot and Cloud.
- Able to understand written English (all hybris technical documentation is in English)
- Experience with Java-based web services and XML is useful
