Duties & Responsibilities

Operate the test equipment and consumables in order to perform tests.

Prepare the samples for tests.

Conduct tests according to test methods and project engineer’s requirements.

Record the results on data sheets.

Record the consumable use if need.

Keep work area and lab clean and in arrangement.

Responsible for the maintenance of test equipment.

Responsible for the purchase and control of consumables.

Support the lab technician and assistant testing engineer to conduct testing according to relevant standards.

Awareness of HSE policy.

Comply at all times with all applicable legal requirements, BV Group HSE Policies and procedures, client’s HSE procedures and practices.

Maintain personal work areas tidy and hazard free and report any deviation/fault/hazard immediately to the location manager/line manager/supervisor.

Report immediately any newly identified hazard and participate in devising suitable operational control to eliminate/minimize the pertinent risk.

Report immediately any HSE incident and cooperate in investigation.

Skills & Requirements

Proficiency in office software practice on Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.

Good reading and writing English capability. Fluent oral English would be preferred.

Good time management and communication skill.

Good team work spirit and professional integrity.

Familiar with the general test requirements (physical, chemical or both), experience in the product testing.

Familiar with the test equipment operation.

Knowledge of setup test method and equipment for un-regular products.

Ability to solve problems and develop methods independently.

Ability to perform multiple tasks according to manager’s request.

Education & Experience

Bachelor Degree and above.

Around 2 years testing experience in the textile field.

Good command of written English. Good command of spoken English is preferred.
