• Job Title: Senior Production Support Analyst
• Business Line: Equity Risk

Business & Technical Description:

• Equity is the most important business in every investment banks. Due to its high liquidity, it is extremely important to maintain a stable environment to its business users
• Equity risk applications are those most complicated applications in Citi. They work with other applications such as trading, reference data and even applications for fixed income and derivatives, to calculate risk, run model, and send these data to other downstream systems. Due to its history these applications are mainly traditionally developed – unix, database and java. Risk calculation is the key. There’re also a whole set of small tools as for convenience

Key Responsibilities:

• BAU Production Support
  • Application Monitoring: Ensures application are running fine with an end-to-end monitoring, utilizing automated monitoring solution
  • Data Quality: Proactive monitor data quality to ensure in-time, accurate data. Due to business sensitivity, being able to make quick decision is requirement
  • Troubleshooting: Resolve issue either spotted by monitoring or reported by user before causing business impact
  • User Request: Fulfil business users’ request when needed.
  • Change Management: Involve in the whole release lifecycle including pre-release review, release implementation, post checkout, post-release review and track. Weekend work will be required and comps leave will be given
  • Incident and Problem Management: Involve in the whole lifecycle of outage management, including troubleshooting, communication, escalation and post-incident review
  • COB: Regularly involve in COB for both application level and module level
  • Ticket and Knowledge Base: Accurately tracking all work in tickets as well as maintaining knowledge base is required
• Stability and Efficiency Improvement
  • Proactive review all daily work to raise improvement opportunities
  • Independently, or drive a group of people, to work on improvement projects
  • Being able to coordinate different people from different team, ask help from stakeholders if needed
  • Being able to resolve complicated technical problem, by both technical mean such as coding or scripting, as well as non-technical mean
• Working Model
  • Follow-the-sun model. APAC team will cover 12 hours a day, 5 days a week. Individual will still work for 8 hours a day, either early or late shift
  • Weekend work will be needed and comps leave will be given. Work on public holidays will be needed and will be paid according to the law
  • Work with your partner L2 team in other region. Work with L1 team in EMEA and NAM
  • Collaborate with development and QA team globally, including Shanghai
  • Travel is not required

Qualifications

Skill & Other Requirement:

Technical Skill Requirement:

• Expertise Unix/Linux. Familiar with all common command lines. Being able to read shell script quickly. Being to write shell script
• Expertise SQL skill. Being able to read and write PL/SQL would be a plus
• Expertise automated monitoring
• Familiar with automation tool such as python, powershell. A good experience on scripting or coding would be a plus

Support Experience Requirement:

• Being able to multi-tasking and work under pressure
• Being able to independently work out solution under complex situation
• Has a strong experience of incident, problem and change management
• Has a strong communication skill, including in English
• Has a strong independent troubleshooting experience
• Quick learner
• A good business knowledge would be a plus
