Role synopsis
BP Supply and Trading - China Commercial Graduate Programme is a three-year programme focused on developing front office commercial professionals. Through a combination of continual training and structured job rotations, we will expose you to one of the most exciting sectors and some of the best traders and Originators in the energy industry.

Key accountabilities
From the ground up, a fully structured program where you will rotate through different roles, each of them demanding real outputs, with real accountability for driving commercial value. Roles could be in market analytics, marketing and origination and working alongside our traders, just to name a few. On our Commercial Programme, we'll give you the jobs which teach you what you need to know about the energy industry. You will have access to the best mentoring and training program in the industry.
Essential Education
- Strong academic record and a bachelor or higher degree in any discipline.
- Less than 2 years professional work experience.
- Fully mobile and willing to move to any BP location during your Commercial Graduate Programme.
- Internship or some commercial experience desirable
- Chinese nationals only. (For this specific programme, only Chinese nationals will be considered. For other nationalities, you may want to consider the IST Eastern Hemisphere Trading Development Programme which is primarily based in Singapore. Open for application in August 2018.
Desirable criteria and qualifications
- Bachelor Degree or higher education
- Internship or some commercial experience
