Roles & Responsibilities

• Engine control system calibration focussed on delivery of engine as installed meeting Ford Motor Company DNA as well as emissions, fuel economy, performance, diagnostics and noise vibration and harshness.

• Candidate would be expected to cover a broad overview of all features and deliverable of calibration, this will include working in emissions and environmental laboratories and test tracks as well as potential travel to territory to demonstrate sign-off requirements

Qualifications & Skills Required

• Engineering degree in as relevant subject, engineering, mathematics, physics or chemistry.

• Candidate should be confident, willing to learn and self-motivated.

• Skills that would be advantageous.

• A knowledge of base engine function and control systems is an advantage.

• An understanding of emissions and /or diagnostic legislation and legal requirements.

• Some understanding of emissions control devices and systems including exhaust after treatments and emission gases.

• Candidate should have a clean driving licence and be confident in driving both manual and automatic vehicles on public road, training will be provided to use on vehicles in test facilities.
