Global Business Services & Chief Operating Office (GBS) is a key partner for business lines development and performances. This global team gathers the following support functions: Market, Operations (OPER), Information Technology (ITEC), Finance (DFIN), Strategy and Organization (S&O), Corporate Services (CS) and Security & Anti-Fraud Expertise (SAFE).

Our role is to provide the most competitive operating model on the market to GBIS business lines while delivering a high quality level of service and innovative solutions in a risk-controlled environment.

In China, GBS regroups 170 professionals spread across 7 locations, with a centralization of transversal functions in Beijing and two platforms dedicated to market activities (Shanghai) and Trade (Guangzhou)

What is the career paths in GBS?

As fresh graduate, your rotation will enable you to understand more about our 3 main areas (IT, Finance, Operations) as well as gain exposure on projects and operational risks.

After this rotation period, as a new joiner, you will start your journey with us by having assignment within production or “change the bank” teams to further understand the complexity of our product / processing chains and learn how to work in team with different set of expertise.

As your career develop, you will be exposed to management and decision making, with responsibility covering small to larger teams or leading projects, finding a right balance between the business development and operational risk.

Who are we looking for?

• Fresh graduates (bachelor or master’s degree holders) or young graduates with less than 2 years work experience;

• Committed to develop a long-term career in the banking industry;

• Being innovative, responsible and result-oriented;

• Excellent analytical ability, quick learner and able to work under pressure;

• Team spirit

• Possessing competent skills in the aspect of team leadership, teamwork, problem solving, interpersonal and communication;

• Proficient in English and Chinese;

• Willing to be relocated to different cities in China;
