The technical information is globally used by IBM support teams and external customers.
Job Description
As a Content Designer (also known as Information Developer or Technical Writer), you will acquire solid knowledge about complex product information of IBM’s key software products. You need to design, author, and publish IBM technical information in the manner of easy to use, easy to understand, and easy to find. You will work closely with different IBM functions including product management, design, development, testing, and globalization. You develop complex, in-depth communications for internal and external audiences and manage projects that involve worldwide teams.
Job Content
-Design the content strategy and information architecture.
-Estimate the workload, create and manage the project schedule by aligning with the overall product release schedule.
-Create or update technical information based on design documents or other input.
-Verify technical accuracy through documentation verification tests and technical reviews by software developers.
-Improve documentation quality and usability by working with technical editors.
-Build and publish the technical information deliverables to the selected channels.
Job Requirements
-Applicable for either fresh graduates in 2019 or professionals who have working experience
-Bachelor's degree or higher, majoring in English, or Science and Engineering subjects
-Excellence in English written and oral communication
-Familiar with programming
-Good teamwork spirit and excellent interpersonal skills
-Strong interest in and proven learning capacity for information technology
-Think, learn, and work independently and proactively
-Organized, committed to deadlines, and able to handle multiple projects and priorities
