Philips Research Intern recruitment for H.264 codec optimization on DSP platfo
rm

Job description:
1.  H.264/AVC video codec development and optimization on TI DM642 DSP platfor
m;
2.  Research and improve video codec algorithm;
3.  Finish the thesis during intern's period.
 
Qualification:
1.  Master or PhD candidate in EE or CS; 
2.  Familar with DSP implmentation/optimization of video algorithm, related de
velopment experience is preferred;
3.  Solid knowledge of video coding standards (MPEG-2, MPEG-4, H.264);
4.  Strong programming skill with C/C++, DSP ASM;
5.  Be fluent both in oral and written English.

Time requirement:
Work full time ( 5 days/week) for 3 months or more.
