Bohai Bay
Purpose:
> Perform electrical maintenance and repair work in a safe and timely manner.
Accountabilities and End Results:
> Carry out planned and corrective maintenance on all electrical equipment on Bohai offshore facilities in order to meet production targets whilst complying with company procedures and safe working practices.
Primary Functions:
> Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HV and LV systems and all other electrical equipment as required.
> Maintain all electrical equipment in a fit for purpose condition.
> Use experience and knowledge to investigate and rectify technical problems working mainly unsupervised.
> Act in a proactive manner to reduce unnecessary work and reduce equipment downtime.
> Assist the I&E Foreman to ensure there are suitable and sufficient spare parts offshore for repairs.
> Assist in training of fellow employees.
> Attain compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
> Stand in for I&E Foreman when required.
> Safely carry out all reasonable duties assigned to them during any emergency situation.
Critical Skills:
> Attain competency training and certification from COOOSO in working on high voltage systems.
> High level knowledge and experience of electrical equipment related to the offshore Petroleum industry.
> Good practical ability when using hand tools.
> High level knowledge of good safety practices.
> Self motivated.
> Good communication skills.
> Good team player.
> Good English skills (reading and writing).
Reporting Relationships:
> Reports to Maintenance Supervisor.
