Bohai Bay
Purpose:
> Perform maintenance and repair work on instrument equipment and systems in a safe and timely manner.
Accountabilities and End Results:
> Carry out planned and corrective maintenance on instrumentation and instrument systems on Bohai offshore facilities in order to meet production targets whilst complying with company procedures and safe working practices.
Primary Functions:
> Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on instrumentation and instrument systems as required.
> Maintain all instrumentation in a fit for purpose condition.
> Use experience and knowledge to investigate and rectify technical problems working mainly unsupervised.
> Act in a proactive manner to reduce unnecessary work and reduce equipment downtime.
> Assist the I&E Foreman to ensure there are suitable and sufficient spare parts offshore for repairs.
> Assist in training of fellow employees.
> Attain compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
> Stand in for I&E Foreman when required.
> Safely carry out all reasonable duties assigned to you during any emergency situation.
Critical Skills:
> High level knowledge and experience of instrument systems and equipment associated with the offshore Petroleum industry.
> Good practical ability when using hand tools.
> High level knowledge of good safety practices.
> Self motivated.
> Good communication skills.
> Good team player.
> Good English skills (reading and writing).
> Computer literate.
Reporting Relationships:
> Reports to Maintenance Supervisor.
