BU Description

SOA acceleration and Websphere Business Partner Technical Enablement is IBM SWG strategic play to drive Collaborative Innovation with Business Partners to provide SOA/Websphere solutions to address customers business challenge .

Under China SOA Center of Competency, our mission is to continuity drive BP SOA 100 program for SOA acceleration and Mass adoption, focusing on channel SOA solution design wins and Websphere solution design wins. We also provide solution implementation support for Websphere Dev2Dev support network, deliver SOA/Websphere skill enablement and SOA solution certification.

The team is one of hyper-growth teams in CDL and we will quickly ramp up to a team consisting of IT architects, solution developers, Websphere specialties and instructors.

Team members will have the opportunity working closely with WW experienced Architects and Websphere experts assigned from WW BPTE team, pick up SOA/Websphere skills, tap deeply into industrial knowledge via working closely with business/industry experts from our strategic business partners and become SOA solution experts in various industries.

This provides excellent opportunities for highly motivated and talented individuals to contribute their experience and leverage the SOA/websphere technologies to achieve major business impact, and grow with the team.



IT Architects (Openings: 9) (Band 7/8/9)
Responsibilities Skills required
- Lead or participate SOA/Websphere Solution project definition, architecture design, solution delivery.
- Coach architects from business partner for SOA/Websphere solution design and solution implementation.


- Experienced IT architects.
- Excellent communication skills, both Chinese and English(written and spoken)
- Strong customer facing skills and passion of working with clients
- Experiences in consulting and solution design using IBM SWG products.
- Experience with SOA reference architecture, Methodology and GSMethod is a plus
- Team leadership, good team player as well
- Strong knowledge on IBM Software portofilio(Java/J2EE, WebSphere, DB2, Lotus, Tivoli, Rational)
- Skilled with IDE development tools such as WSAD, WID, Rational Software Architect, Eclipse3
- Project management skills
- Self motivator and quick learner
- Industry domain knowledge as a plus

Qualifications
- Degree: MS or BS degree, major in CS or equivalent
- Experiences: 5+ years experience in IT consulting, solutions design or IT implementation.
- Experience of customer projects engagement.
- Prior services experiences or oversea working experience is a strong plus.


Solution Developers/Websphere Specialists (Openings: 8 ) (Band 6/7/8/9)
Responsibilities Skills required

- Solution design, development and necessary documentation under guidance of Architect
- Ensure the solution development is in line with the architecture design and Support the Technical QA activitie
- Provide supports to BP developers under Websphere Dev2Dev supporting network program.


- Good communication skills, both Chinese and English(written and spoken)
- Strong knowledge on IBM Software portofilio(Java/J2EE, WebSphere, DB2, Lotus, Tivoli, Rational)
- Knowledge of OO, UML, design patterns
- Experiences in consulting and solution design using IBM SWG products
- Experienced in J2EE(EJB, JCA, JTA,etc.), Web Services(XML, SOAP, WSDL, UDDI, BEPL ...)
- Working experience with application server: WebSphere Business Integration Server Foundation, Websphere Process Server, Message Broker is a plus
- Industry domain knowledge as a plus
- Experience with SOA reference architecture, Methodology and GSMethod is a plus
- Good team player, Self motivator and quick learner

Project Manager: (Openings: 1) (Band 7/8)
Responsibilities Sills required
- Manage BP projects and SOA 100 program
- Plan, manage and track resource allocation amongst multiple projects.
- Track and report business impacts result.
- Track and consolidate project status
- Help in communcation with Stakeholders Project Management experience including planning, tracking and risk/dependency management
Strong written and verbal English communication skills, abilty to express ideas clearly
Knowledge of financial operations, experience in managing budgets
Expertise with spreadsheet tools
Self motivated to solve problems and work independently


Instructors ( Openings: 5 ) (Band 6/7/8)
Responsibilities Skills required

- Creation of SOA/WebSphere coursewares, and ensure it is in line with IBM SOA methodology/technology
- Deliver SOA/WebSphere training to the customers as well as BPs in GCG






- Excellent presentation skills, both Chinese and English(written and spoken)
- Good communication skills, both Chinese and English(written and spoken)
- Experienced in J2EE(EJB, JCA, JTA,etc.), Web Services(XML, SOAP, WSDL, UDDI, BEPL ...)
