Quality Assurance Specialist - Global Shared Development Center
 
Job Description
  
A quality assurance specialist/analyst provides software quality assurance ex
pertise. To fulfill this role, the specialist/analyst will:

• Participate in software development, testing, support, training and do
cumentation
• Serve as a knowledge resource for both technical and application-relat
ed issues
• Prepare test plans and conduct testing
• Follow testing and procedure standards
• Provide troubleshooting to the offices on applications issues
• Monitor errors and user complaints
• Manage QA projects
• Assist in development and implementation of automated regression test
benchmarks
• Participate in the design and development of training courses and spec
ific documentation
• Train team members
• Carry responsibility for multiple assignments concurrently.

Qualifications
BA/BS degree preferred
Strong quality assurance background
Demonstrated
A) Analytical skills
B) Ability to interact effectively with system developers and user on QA proje
ct.
C) Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to work
autonomously.
Familiar with following test tools 
• Visual Studio 2005 Team Test Edition
• Rational ClearQuest
• Rational Robot
• Rational Test Manager
