Offer the suitable product specification to customers
Delivery and control of allocated customer annual budget in volume and value;

Requirements

职位描述：
Job Description:

1. Health, Safety and the Environment
Ensure highest standards of housekeeping by themselves and other individuals around them are maintained to ensure a clean and safe working environment
2. Laboratory work
a. Ensure that all work undertaken is performed at the highest personal level and within the time limits laid down in agreed work programmes.
b. Carry out experimental paint formulation using the formulation calculator to meet project requirements.
c. Undertake manufacture and evaluation of experimental paint formulations to meet project needs
d. Plan and carry out supervision of scale up batches where required.
e. Plan, conduct and inspect trial applications in the field, so that project time-scales are met, customer relations are maintained and real time field data for product performance is generated.
3. Communication
a. Communicate all relevant technical information to relevant parties. This will take the form of monthly bulletins, memo’s, e-mail, informal discussions and formal meetings.
b. Ensure that all work undertaken is reported to a high standard in laboratory notebooks.
4. Personal Development
Undergo continuous improvement, proactively setting out to increase technical, commercial and managerial knowledge. Specific annual targets for personal development will be specified in the relevant section of the individual’s Appraisal. These targets will be defined to increase knowledge in areas that require development and will increase the individual’s profile.
5. Procedures
Ensure that all activities undertaken comply with all current Departmental, Company and Business Unit procedures. When errors or incorrect information is identified, they must proactively seek to remedy them where possible.
6. Quality
Ensure that all work carried out must comply with the current or proposed departmental ISO9001: 2000 system. They must ensure work of any subordinates also complies.
7. Management
a. Self manage on a daily basis working towards project deadlines and operating within laboratory Safety and Quality Procedures.
b. Strive to meet personal targets that have been defined in the Appraisal. Effective time management, clear communication with team members and an excellent understanding of work required are critical to an individual’s success.
c. When they have acquired the necessary technical and personal skills, undertake line management responsibility for a Technician.

Job Description:

c.Under guidance of the lab manager or chemist, participate in supervision of factory batch manufacture.
d.Participate in trial applications outside laboratory conditions under supervision.
e.Undertake any reasonable task as requested by lab manager or chemist above and beyond their normal working activity
3.Communication
a.Ensure that all work undertaken is recorded to a high standard in laboratory notebooks
b.Ensure that data and results are effectively reported to supervisors verbally and/or in writing.
4.Personal Development
Set high personal standards of performance, demonstrating energy and confidence in achieving personal success and be pro-active in self-development. Progress also needs to be made to increase their awareness in other areas such as business awareness, customer relationships, initiative, problem solving and team working to enable progression to the position of Chemist.
5.Management
Strong awareness of self-management with respect to time management, quality and self-discipline. However, a technician will have no direct line management responsibility.
Requirement:
Education: BSc. Or BEng.
Work Experience: Having the lab experience of paint is preferred
Personal Skills/Competencies: Good communication, high team work spirit and willing of taking responsibility
Computer Skills: Proficient in some basic and professional paint software.
Ability of foreign languages:Good understanding of English (spoken and written)
