Currently OMICS and Integromics are offering the following opportunity:

Senior Bioinformatician
You are an experienced bioinformatician who have been exposed both to scientific discovery and, possibly as well, to Corporate activities, especially in the genomics area. You have become proficient in the advanced use of a number of bioinformatics tools. Most possibly, you have been engaged in the development of some of these tools. You know how to commit to deadlines and to work in a high demanding group of very qualified peers.

Some duties include:
- To assist developing new methodologies for data analysis of high-throughput techniques (DNA microarrays, Tiling, CGH, SOLID, qPCR…)
- Define and document specifications for the implementation of state-of-the art data analysis methodologies
- Product research, test and use new methods in our product development pipeline

Desired Requirements:
Preferably a PhD degree in Bioinformatics and relevant experience in one or more of the following fields: data analysis of chips-based technologies (DNA microarrays, CGH, SNPs, …), proteomics, data mining or statistics. Excellent English verbal/written skills are a must.
Experience with R or MATLAB is a plus.
