Responsibilities:
- Develop new concepts for product safety solutions in China using Internet of Things (IoT) technology
- Lead and design innovative algorithms in image processing for object recognition
- Evaluate customer requirements and market attractiveness for new product ideas
- Collaborate with local research communities and participate in joint projects
- Cooperate with business units in technology transfer and business case analysis
- Derive local-for-local strategies based on technological and business trends
Requirements:
- Highly accomplished PhD qualification in the field of computer science or electronics engineering with strong publication record
- Strong/expert knowledge in the research topic of image processing, experiences with deep learning, pattern recognition or signal processing will be preferred
- Hands-on experience in implementation of algorithm/software/system, familiar with one or more programming languages
- 3-5 years research experience in image processing, successful project experience will be preferred
- Passion for innovation, good communication skills, team player, autonomous working style
