A successfulAssociate Systems Engineer (ASE) will expand their networking knowledge and betrained to collaborate with Cisco sales professionals to provide technicalsolutions for our customers. The Cisco Sales Associates Program offers a globalenvironment that provides 12 months of on-the-job training that will prepareyou for a successful engineering career at Cisco. Qualifications

 

-Recent graduate or on your final year of studies towards a bachelor’s(BS/BA/etc.) or master’s degree in  Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Networking Engineering;Computer Programming; Information Technology; Computer Science; Mathematics

-Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher or equivalent

-Ability to creatively apply technology to solve customer problems

-Technical support, presales support, installation, or sales experiencein the technology industry preferred

-Application centric skills arepreferred

-Fluent in English, written and verbal

-Must be able to legally live and work in the country for which you’reapplying, without visa support or sponsorship (student visas or visas obtainedon your own are not applicable for the program

 

 

WhatYou’ll Do

 

For the first threemonths of the program, you’ll undergo courses focusing on the latest technologyadvancements, including Cisco architectures, solutions, products, andcompetitors. Over the next nine months, you’ll advance into an engineering roleas part of your on-the-job-experience within the Cisco Global VirtualEngineering Team, actively involved in sales opportunities as well as shadowingtechnology professionals while continuing certification studies and virtuallearning.

Global VirtualEngineering is a multilevel technical presales organization, which providessystems engineering services to customers, partners, and internal Cisco salesemployees in a global virtual networked environment. Upon graduation from theprogram, you’ll be promoted into a Virtual Systems Engineering role withinCisco, where you can continue to grow your career.

 

Eligibility Requirements

-Year 1: Must be willing to relocate to a Cisco SalesAssociates Program training hub (Beijing) for the 12 months of the program.

-Year 2: You will transition to a Virtual SystemsEngineering role in Global Virtual Engineering. You may relocated to analternative Global Virtual Engineering hub, relocation would be based onbusiness need. We cannot confirm final placement destination at the time ofoffer. Cisco will provide relocation assistance.

-Year 3: You will apply to open Systems Engineeringpositions within the company.
