Cisco Service Provider Video Software andService team provides end-to-end Cloud based cable and IP video solutions thatenable global service providers to bring together content from pay TV, online,OTT and on-demand sources and to combine these content with social media,communications, and mobility to create a truly immersive next generationmultiple screen experience to video consumers.
Responsibilities:
Developing world class Internetbased video encoding, packaging, and delivery software applications withknowledge that spanning from video technology such as MPEG, HEVC, and ABR tonetwork and system technology such as HTTP, TCP/IP, Kernel, and storage
Developing both Linux serverside software applications and iOS and Android client side softwareapplications
Programming in aVMWare/OpenStack/Kubernetes Cloud environment using programing languages suchas C/C++, GO, Java
Programing script-baseddevelopment tools such as Node.JS and Python
Programing using advancedMicroservices Architecture pattern
Developing software withworld’s best domain experts in a fast moving agile environment
Requirements:
Strong analytical and problemsolving capabilities
Strong sense of responsibilityand self-driven
Fluent English speaking andwriting
Solid C/C++ skills anddebugging capability
Java, GO and Node.JS skills notrequired but a plus
Networking knowledge such asTCP/IP or socket programming experience not required but a plus
Cloud technology such asVMWare/OpenStack/Kubernetes not required but a plus
Educational Background：
Master or Bachelor degree inComputer Science or related disciplines
