General Statement
This role will be responsible for the credit underwriting of all retail finance applications and general administration of all associated activities.
Key Duties
Perform the credit underwriting assessments on retail credit applications received, ensuring that they follow FAFC purchasing guidelines and policies while maintaining FAFC's published turnaround times (i.e. They are being actioned in an efficient and controlled environment)
Prompt and courteous responses are provided to our customers and a strong, loyal and professional relation is established and maintained with all dealers and customer
Conduct and manage follow-ups for "held" deals and approved applications not yet taken up (NTUs) by the dealer/retail customer
Assist in the preparation and update of Procedures and desktop manuals
Working closely with other departments in FAFC and communicate any systems issues that occur in data in retail operations system
Verify data in the retail operations system in accurate and efficient manner to ensure data quality and integrity
Accurate and timely filing of all customer's related data is maintained and that the customers data and contracts are always handled in a secure manner
Carry out other ad hoc assignments, support or activities as required by the business
Requirements
Professional, confident and non-confrontational negotiation skill with dealers and customers
Strong communication skills and good team player; able to work under stress
Logical thinking and analytic ability / skills
Good organizational and administration skills
Good written and verbal English language skills
Good customer service mindset
