Roles & Responsibilities

• Engineer responsible for handle Ford plants general layout work. These layouts will be utilized for the development of future model programs and facilities and encompass all aspects of the body shop from automated to manual facilities, CMM, office and NWG area requirements.
• Work with the MBO office on future planning purposes for new plants of the future.
• Understand the facility requirement that will meet the production needs of the programs, including quality & JPH requirements.
• Understand the key requirements of body shop layouts including, manufacturing facilities, buffers systems, dunnage requirements etc. Develop Discreet Event Simulation models as required, and support program throughput simulations.

 

Qualifications & Skills

• Master degree or above.
• Fluent in both oral and written English.
• Good usage of AutoCAD, Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
• Excellent communication skill and demonstrated initiative with integrity, teamwork orientation, and high intelligence level.
•  Internship experience in Auto Industry preferred.
• Experience in usage of Simul8 or Witness preferred.
