SQA – Advanced Process Control
Responsibilities:
• Testing Aspen APC (DMCplus, Apollo, State Space Controller, etc.) soft
ware.
• Develop and execute manual and/or automated test cases
• Work with test leads in US to meet Testing requirements
• Identify defects and work with developers to ensure resolution of defe
cts

Requirements:
• BS/MS in Control Theory and Control Engineering or Chemical Engineerin
g (Who has process control experience or dynamic simulation experience)
• Skilled in advanced process control (APC), model identification is a p
lus.
• Familiar with the workflow of APC.
• Familiar with chemical process is a plus.
• Have good written and spoken English.
• 0-3 years experience with software testing.
• Experience in programming and database knowledge is a plus.
• Good Team work spirit. Willing to learn new things quickly and indepen
dently.
• Have interest in software quality assurance.

Tools/Configuration Engineer

Responsibilities:
• Provide first level support for Rational Clear Quest users.
• Work with Oracle DBA on Clear Quest issues.
• Work with the Clear Quest development tools to make changes to the Cle
ar Quest schemas.
• Work with External Customer Access Website.  
• Provide technical experience and write guideline documents on new tool
s, applications or software etc.
• Terminal Services Configuration and Maintenance.
• Windows Server Maintenance.   
• Database troubleshooting.

Requirements:
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related major.
• 2+ years working experience: 1-2 years development experience and 1-2
years QE experience.
• Good command in both oral and written English.  
• Team work spirit in a cross-department environment.
• Admin knowledge of SQL server or/and Oracle database is a must.
• Rational Clear Quest admin and development knowledge. A solid knowledg
e of Clear Quest Architecture is required.
• Terminal Services Configuration and Maintenance knowledge.
• Windows server maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of ASP development.   C/C++ programming skill is a plus.
• Needs a System Administration Mindset (Rather than developers mindset)

• Experience with development tools, e.g. Microsoft Visual Studio, Eclip
se, Perforce is a plus.
• Automation test knowledge is a plus.


Software developer for WPF UI development

Responsibilities:

   Design, development and testing of Graphical User Interfaces, components an
d design          
   tools using .Net 3.0 and WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation)

Requirements:
-BS/MS in Computer Science or related
-1 to 4 years of programming experience using OO languages, such as C#, C++ or
Java
-Solid Microsoft .NET and C#//C++ programming skills
-Solid XML programming experience
-Experience in User Interface design and implementation, preferably using WinF
orm, GUI in VB, Delphi, MFC GDI, Java AWT/SWING or
-Good communication skills
-Quick learner for new technologies

Plus:
-Knowledge of Windows Presentation Foundation (XAML, Blend) is a plus
-Knowledge of interoperability between COM and .NET and between C# and managed
C++ is a plus
-Skilled JavaScript/VBScript is a plus
-Programming experience in drawing (CAD, Photoshop, OpenGL, DirectDraw) is a p
lus
-Fluent in English (written and spoken); business will be conducted entirely i
n English, including frequent communication with US staff


Software developer for Installation & Deployment
Position Justification
Create an Installation/Deployment team in China to increase the quality of pro
duct installs and to produce capabilities that speed up the deployment of our
products. From the Engineering Advisory Group Deployment Task Force, a specifi
c set of deployment-related enhancements have been recommended.
Responsibilities:
-Development and maintenance of our software deployment technology components
such as role based security, application management and diagnostics, common in
stallation components and centralized logging.
-Design and development of new capabilities
-Work with our product development teams using the components
-Working with the support team to resolve escalated customer issues
Qualifications:
-BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent discipline
-1- 3 years experience using C or C++
-Experience developing multithreaded code and COM
-Background applying problem solving and debugging skills
-Working knowledge of C#, VB and MFC a plus
-Development experience in Visual Studio, SQL Server or Oracle a plus
-Fluent in English (written and spoken); business will be conducted entirely i
n English, including frequent communication with US staff
