Report to Quality Manager

Job Requirement:
-Education: Bachelor degree or above
-Experience: More than 4 years experience in quality function.
-Have following technical skills and knowledge would be an advantage
-Measuring methods
-Inspection and control systems
-Audit techniques
-Systematic improvement systems (MEDIC, 8D,..)
-Problem solving techniques (Shainin, DOE, 7 tools, 4M,)
-Statistic knowledge and tooling (Minitab, datalyser, cyrcle,)
-Green belt certified
-ISO 9000, OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001

Job Responsibilities:
1.Operations
oResponsible for organizing and improving the efficiency and effectiveness of all control processes like Final inspection, AQC, In process control, levelcontrol, 100% burning,…in order to create a world class quality system with focus on cost of none quality and customer satisfaction.
oIn case of internal 8D’s, crashes and other Quality red alerts, the Production Quality Engineer is responsible for the follow-up and communication in the organization and monitoring the effectiveness of corrective actions and containments.
oThey are in the lead of each internal 8D until the acceptance and implementation of the containment.
oImprove the competence levels align with Turnhout by following functional trainings.
oExecute intern ISO 9000 audits and drive PST MPM to higher level together with Operations Quality Manager in order to close all internal control loops. Initiate, execute and follow up improvement actions out of different audits
oGive management and organization inside on present quality level by collecting quality data (component, product, process, material reject and factory efficiency) and provide & communicate transparent quality reports.
oSecure and monitor the measurement systems by organizing analysis studies on variable and attributive values
oOrganising the calibrations of all measurement equipment together with QDL Turnhout when necessary
oGive support and guides in the use of quality tools like FMEA, CPA, DOE, controlplan, 4M,…
2.Innovation
Out of quality perspective give guides and support to release processes (Product Creation Process, Manufacturing Process Creation Process)
3.Customer Quality
oSupport Customer quality Engineer in solving external 8D’s and crashes.
Production Quality Engineer execute the containment actions on shop floor which were agreed with the 8D or crash team.
oFacilitate customer visits during audits and factory tours on shop floor.
oMake effective and clear reports on product performance towards customers
4.Standardisation & organisation:
oTo support the implementation of corporate quality programs such as BEST, PBE, PST’s, etc. on production line
oTo support the implementation and control adherence of & compliance to ISO standards on production line
