Requirements:
1.Master degree with optical engineering related background;
2.Good knowledge and experience of optic and telecommunication;
3.Familiar with all kinds of testing equipments/instruments and solutions in optical or semiconductor industry.
4.Proven good communications in both English and Mandarin.
5.Must be self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision. Team spirit and good interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
1.Test solution design for the product which design in shanghai RD site or transfer from other finisar RD site.
2.Communicate with Finisar different sites to identify suitable vendors and best manufacturing ways for manufacturing of products after finalizing design and completing design reviews.
3.Do necessary engineering analysis and simulations in all NPI phases to validate the design.
4.Do brain storming and initial studies to identify possible ways of designing a low cost high performance product suitable for high volume manufacturing in early product.
5.Do failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA) to identify potential failure modes in a product by classifying the severity and likelihood of the failures based on past experience.
6.Participate in joint product test design and development efforts with other Finisar R&D centers
